I’m Hani Asaad, a cybersecurity architect, consultant, CISSP instructor and speaker. I help organisations protect what matters, train technology professionals, and build AI that teaches. My background spans 15 years of security architecture, consulting, security awareness, audits, assessments and enterprise security solutions.
Consulting and awareness
My team and I help organisations build a security programme that fits the business: cybersecurity strategy, compliance with standards such as NCA, SAMA, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS, risk and resilience, and the technical testing that proves it works. Depending on the service, I deliver it myself or lead a team of specialists. I also run awareness workshops that help people recognise and stop attacks. See my services.

I speak at events and run sessions for organisations. Recent talks include “The Age of AI-Driven Attacks” at Black Hat MEA in Riyadh, a cybersecurity awareness session in Dammam, and a Managed Detection & Response workshop in Riyadh.

Career
For 15 years I have worked in the global cybersecurity market, from engineering secure networks to designing enterprise security architectures as a cybersecurity architect. I have designed security programmes and managed security services, including SIEM, SOC, MDR, XDR and threat intelligence, and helped organisations evaluate and adopt new security platforms through workshops, proofs of concept and executive briefings.
Alongside this work, I founded and architected Hani AI, an AI learning platform that uses retrieval-augmented generation on a serverless edge stack to give grounded, evidence-based answers, built with security by design. It powers the study assistant in my academy and is the foundation of Afqa AI.
